fallout 4 not working (help) I bought fallout 4 from steam, downloading, im excited to play, it finishes downloading and when i load the game up, i can hear the game intro and the main menu sound effects but there is only a black screen! I’ve lost a ton of progress because I didn’t save enough don’t let the same thing happen to you. txt file located in Fallout 4's AppData folder with a text editor such as Notepad++ Ensure the new ESP file is listed.
I just got fallout 4 a few days ago and now I want to mod it with NMM and no matter what I do mods are not working and yes I did that thing in the ini where you add that and then everything after those two however I can't get mods to work I've also verified the game files via steam and I even unistalled Fallout 4 then reinstalled it. 
There are a variety of mods for Fallout 4 now.
Seriously: Fallout 4 is harder than both Fallout 3 and New Vegas. You're always stuck with four options, including a generic and often misnamed 'Sarcastic' option and most of the time the options boil down to "Yes" "Yes, but fuck you pay me" "No, but okay actually yes" and "Sarcastic". Which means, you will have to delete the game's settings by hand. Dated does not mean ugly, however, and Fallout 4 is absolutely the best the series has ever looked, not just in terms of fidelity, but art direction as well. 
News FDI has been updated with a version compatible with the Beta 1.
